Call for Papers: The 3rd International Postgraduate Student Conference at UGM
The Master of Law Program at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), proudly invites postgraduate law students and researchers to participate in the 3rd International Postgraduate Student Conference. This prestigious academic forum will be held from 6 – 8 November 2025 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
With the timely theme, “Toward Ecological and Economic Justice in a Transitional Era: The Role of Law in Maintaining Balance,” the conference aims to foster scholarly discussions on how legal systems can navigate the complexities of environmental and economic transitions worldwide.
Now in its third year, this international conference serves as a platform for postgraduate students to present research, engage in academic discourse, and connect with peers and experts from diverse legal backgrounds. This year’s theme explores the legal challenges and opportunities in achieving sustainable ecological and economic systems.

Participants are invited to submit abstracts related to, but not limited to, the following topics:

Awards and Scholarships
- Best Paper Award – IDR 1,000,000
- Best Presenter Award – IDR 1,000,000
- Scholarships – Up to IDR 5,000,000 for five (5) selected participants (terms and conditions apply)
- Free Proceeding Submission – All presenters may submit their papers for free publication in the conference proceedings
Publication Opportunities
Submitted papers will be considered for:
- Non-indexed conference proceedings (ISBN)
- Affiliated academic journals (subject to editorial review and journal-specific requirements)
